Malkova M.Y. Treatment of Metal Chips from Lubricoolant in a Vertical Drying Tube
Investigations into the effectiveness of drying metal chips and removing lubricoolant in a vertical drying tube are described. A model for automatic process control system has been developed. The process has been adopted at an operating facility, which ensured a residual lubricoolant content in chips of ? 0.1%. Popel P.S., Borisenko A.V., Guzachev M.A., Yagodin D.A., Konstantinova N.Y. Effect of Metallurgical Heredity in Liquid-Metal Heat Carriers of Nuclear Power Plants
Investigated was the effect of the method of preparing liquid- metal heat carriers of nuclear reactors of the Pb-Bi, Pb-Sn and Ga-In systems on their kinematic viscosity and ultrasound velocity. There were found obvious signs of their hereditary microheterogeneity that can remain for a long time in the initial stages of using the heat carrier and substantially influence its properties. Methods of eliminating that influence are proposed. Key words: charge, heredity of melt structure, metastable microheterogeneity, homogenizing overheat.

Gerasimov V.V., Visik E.M., Kolyadov E.V. The influence of the drift of the crystallization front on the structure of single crystal alloy castings ZHS32U obtained at the VIP NK
The article gives an explanation of the observed phenomenon development of the axes of thedendrites of the second order in the middle of the height of the cylindrical ingot diameter of 16 and a height of 200 mm. Development axes of the dendrites of the second order due to the drift of the solidification front in the direction of coolant (molten aluminum) on bo'l `shimi value than the maximum of its value for the particular alloy and casting machine. A scheme of the one-dimensional temperature field of casting with its division into four zones of differing aggregate state of the alloy and heat transfer conditions on the lateral surface of the sample. It is shown that the adjustment of the temperature and velocity parameters can be cast with a uniform interdendritic spacing over the entire height. Baglyuk G.A., Vodennikova O.S., Skachcov V.A. Influence of Component Composition for Carbon-Aluminium Composites on their Tribotechnical Characteristics
Results of model estimation of influence of maintenance for components of initial powdercharge of carbon-aluminium composites on their basic tribotechnical characteristics of composite materials for the wide range of composite compositions. It is shown that for carbon-aluminium composites, not containing the refractory including of Al2O3 and TiC, with the increase of maintenance of graphite from 15 to 45% the coefficient of friction goes down and are within the limits of 0,11…0,17. Introduction in the composition of material refractory particles of alumina or titan carbide and increase of their maintenance in a charge results to the substantial increase of coefficients of friction to 0,25…0,49 and wearproofness of materials as compared with carbon-aluminium composites, not containing ceramic particles. Koftelev V.T. About connection between volume changes of metallic body and pores, contained in this body
In this article it is pointed, what under uniform pressing of metallic porous body, when volume of pores, contained in this body, are decreasing, ratio of pores volume decrease, expressed in percentage, to body volume decrease, expressed in percentage, is equal to "coefficient of accordance between body volume and pores volume K", which is constant for the body. Coefficient K, in one? s turn, is equal to ratio of initial body volume, expressed in SI units, to initial pores volume, expressed in SI units also. Isagulov A.Z., Kvon S.S., Kulikov V.Y., Filippova T.S., Sidorina Y.A. Investigation into the Properties of Titanium Carbide Based Materials Designed to Working at High Temperature
Investigated were the properties of titanium carbide based cermets containing 25…65% Ni-Cr or Ni-Co-Cr binder. Manufacturing regime and physical properties of those materials at room and elevated temperatures are given. Such mechanical properties as bending strength, tensile strength, impact toughness were measured. Usability of cermets as high-temperature materials was considered. Strength rupture was evaluated as a high-temperature strength indicator. Strength rupture decreases with an increase in binder content, just like normal rupture strength at high temperatures. It was found that in the investigated temperature range the material's properties are a function of binder content. Moiseyeva N.S., Konokotin S.P. On the Effect of Electromagnetic Treatment on the Structure and Properties of Cast Ni-Al Alloy
Investigation into the cast alloy of the intermetallide class Ni-18%Al produced by the method of lectromagnetic treatment in the process of equiaxial crystallization made it possible to reveal a refined structure, prevailing texture formation, change in phase composition in it, and after high-temperature strength tests - a omogeneous, thermostable structure, beneficially influencing the physical-and-mechanical properties. Key words: intermetallide alloy, electromagnetic treatment, high-temperature strength, thermostable structure.

Echin A.B., Bondarenko Y.A. Industrial High-Gradient Installation of Directed Crystallization UVNS-6
In article the industrial high-gradient UVNS-6 furnace and its advantages are provided. Microstructural research of samples received on the UVNS-6 furnace with measurement of interdendritic distance is conducted. The temperature gradient is defined by an experimental method and the factor of proportionality, proceeding from dependence of a temperature gradient and interdendritic distance is calculated. Key words: temperature gradient, directional crystallization, interdendritic distance, microstructure.

Klochikhin V.V., Gnatenko О.V., Naumyk V.V. Nfluences of High Temperature Treatment of Fusion on Quality of ЖС32-ВИ Alloy
Influence of high temperature treatment of fusion (HTTF) is studied on chemical composition, structure and properties of heatproof nickel alloy ЖС32-ВИ. It is set that as a result of HTTF takes place substantial increase of melt homogeneity, development of liquation processes dencrease, rise of the propertis of plasticity and longterm strength. However here is the burning away of most alloying elements, which, it is necessary to compensate introduction them in a charge at a subsequent remelt. Kostik V.O., Kostik Е.А. The Increase of Durability of Punches of Press-Forms Molding Machines by Low-Temperature Carbonitriding
The new method of hardening of the surface layers of chemical-thermal processing (in particular, low-temperature carbonitriding). Shows the drawbacks of existing methods. It is established, that the developed new technology carbonitriding allows you to significantly speed up the process of saturation of the layers of the atomic elements in comparison with the traditional ways.
