Naidek V. L. On the Outlook for Development and Cooperation between the Metallurgy and Foundry Industries in Ukraine Analysis of Ukraine's ferrous metallurgy is given. Ways of energy saving including use of metal scrap substitute - synthicom, which can be produced using not only blast furnace, but also cupola process, are shown. A layout of a mini-foundry to implement the proposed processes is given.

Trebushevsky V. L. et al. Economical Alloying of Cast Irons with Copper in the Weak Redu-cing Atmosphere of Cupola Melting
The article presents general thermodynamic parameters of the process of reducing copper from its compounds in the weak reducing atmosphere of cupola melting, as well as results of industrial testing of the cast iron alloying process using intermediate products and waste from related production processes containing copper oxides in the conditions of RUP Minsk Automobile Plant's foundry.

Sedelnikov V. V. et al. Controlling Solutions' and Melts' Properties when Using Torsion Fields
Authors present the experimental research results of different physical fields influence on physical-mechanical properties of metal phosphate binding materials solutions . It was determined a presence of quasiperiodical oscillations of metal phosphate binding materials solutions viscidity after applying electromagnetic, ultrasound and torsion fields. In accordance with these oscillations it was revealed self-organization of polycrystalls during their crystallization after applying all these fields. It was demonstrated that torsion fields allowed controlling self-organization of different structures in more broad range than other physical fields. These experimental facts give an opportunity to elaborate information technologies in the science of materials.

Pisarenko V. A. et al. Properties and Composition of ZrCr2 Intermetallide
It was given the researches of cast structure formation of ZrCr2 intermetalide samples depending on heat-physical parameters of crystallization. It was established basic heat-physical parameters of crystallization of ZrCr2 intermetalide with stoichio-metrical composition and intermetalide with the superfluous zirconium contents (up to 2...3% at.) , which provide formation the defectless cast samples It was carried out x-ray structure analysis casts, received in various conditions of the crystallisation and cooling. The opportunities of occurrence "basking" structures at phase transformations in intermetalide are discussed.

Zhelyapova Ye. I. et al. Barothermal Treatment of АК9ч Cast Aluminium Alloy
The effect of barothermal treatment on the microstructure, impermeability and mechanical properties of АК9ч (AL4) cast aluminium alloy has been studied.

Isaichev A. V. et al. Investigation of the Effect of Heat Treatment on the Mechanical Properties of an Economically Alloyed Titanium Alloy
Heat treatment is one of the main ways of affecting the structural-phase state of metals and alloys and, therefore, it is with its aid that various alloy properties can be influenced, and it can be used as a tool for enhancing mechanical properties as applied to specific operation conditions. That's why the issue of selecting and optimizing heat treatment is very important in creating a process of commercial development of an alloy. This work is dedicated to the study of the effect of heat treatment on the mechanical properties of an alloy and optimization of its parameters for the economically alloyed titanium alloy. Three modes of heat treatment are discussed ( annealing at 750°C, 1 h; water quenching from 930°C; water quenching from 930°C + aging at 550°C, 4 h) , mechanical properties after each mode have been checked, micros true ture of samples has been investigated, and an optimal mode has been selected.

Voloshina Ye. Ye. Optimization of the Process of Manufacturing Thin Pressed Sections from 1424 Alloy
The new weldable, medium-strength corrosion-resistant Al-Mg-Li-Zr-Sc system 1424 alloy having a high toughness and a good low-cycle fatigue is of a great interest for the application in aircraft structures in the form of weldable panels from sheets and sections as a fuselage covering. Earlier, the industrial process of manufacturing thin pressed sections from 1424 alloy comprised pressing, water quenching and leveling, but to achieve the best complex of mechanical and corrosion properties subsequent air re-hardening was required. Combination of pressing and hardening on the press trough not only simplifies the manufacturing process and reduces labor input, but also ensures a rather stable and high level of mechanical and corrosion properties.

Grigoryev S. P. Development of a Computer-Aided Work Stock Data Management System
The article describes the current level of implementing various CAM components in the blank production. Issues of analyzing the available computing environment capacities (hardware and software) to store and process data (access, changing, updating, removal). Advantages of using the data base over other methods of data storage and processing are given.
