Illarionov I.E., Zhirkov E.N., Yanyushkin A.R., Sadetdinov Sh.V. Development of magnesium borphosphate binders and mixtures for steel casting
The results of the study of surface tension, wetting angle, density, viscosity and binding strength of boratephosphate binders based on magnesium dihydrophosphate, sodium tetraborate, calcium hexaborate and magnesium hexaborate are presented. Studies of the density, viscosity, tension surface, wetting angle, and binding strength of magnesium boronphosphate compositions make it possible to substantiate scientifically the choice of the binder proceeding from its adhesive-cohesive ability to obtain molding and core sands cured in cold tooling. Cold-hardening mixtures having the following composition: 80% quartz sand 1K02A GOST 2138-91; 5% clay PZ GOST 3226-93 and 15% magnesium boronphosphate binder have been developed. The developed binders and mixtures meet the requirements of foundry production in terms of physical and mechanical properties. They can be recommended for the production of molding and core sands hardened in cold tooling for the production of steel castings.
Keywords:Magnesium boronphosphate binder, surface tension, wetting angle, density, viscosity, binding strength, molding and core sands, castings, durability, friability, shapeability, strength, shake-out work.

Ermolenko A.A., Znamensky L.G., Tkachenko S.S., Morozov A.O., Prokopenko A.V. Application of energy of physical fields in mold technology
A review of metal-forming technologies at dielectric heating by high frequency current and by the energy of electromagnetic field of ultrahigh frequency range is given. The study was carried out to determine the effect of ultrahigh frequency waves on the sand mixture. The results confirm the assumption about the feasibility of mass production of molds and cores with the "Neorganica" binder. The industrial implementation of the dielectric heating by ultrahigh frequency energy and using the undangerous inorganic binders can improve technical and economic indices and eliminate risks associated with labor and environmental protection.
Keywords:Casting mould, cold-hardening sand, synthetic resins, high frequency current, ultrahigh frequency, electromagnetic radiation, magnetron, "Neorganica" binder.

Korotchenko A.Yu., Khilkov D.E., Tverskoy M.V. New compositions of thermoplastic slurry and molds for their injection molding
The paper shows the application of injection molding technology of metal powder mixtures (MIM-technology) in the foundry. To reduce the cost of production of parts, it is proposed to use casting molds, which are usually used in casting by smelted models (LVM). First of all, these are molds made of various brands of rubber, plastic and gypsum. The use of these molds can significantly reduce the cost of manufacturing cast blanks using MIM technology, since there is no need to manufacture metal molds.
Keyword:Metal injection molding, thermoplastic slurry (feedstock), casting molds; casting by smelted models.

Livshits V.B., Kushnir A.P. An influence of pressure on the formation of AK7ch alloy castings
An influence of pressure on the structure and properties of AK7ch alloy castings was studied in this work. Castings were made by pressure casting with counter-pressure, low pressure casting, and chill casting. The results of manufacturing of an experimental batch of pump housing castings are presented.
Keywords:Pressure, structure, casting, crystallization zones, non-metallic inclusions, coquille, low pressure.

Narsky A.R., Deynega G.I., Kuzmina I.G. Application of cobalt aluminate modifier for equiaxed casting of gas turbine engine blades. Part 2
Cobalt aluminate is widely used in the equiaxial casting of gas turbine engine blades (GTE) from nickel superalloys. Within the framework of import substitution, the technology of manufacturing molds using cobalt aluminate based on domestic raw materials is considered. The second part of the article is devoted to the manufacture of ceramic molds, melting and casting of blades with an equiaxed structure. The conclusion is made about the possibility of using cobalt oxide of domestic manufacturers in the manufacture of a modifier – AK brands AK-1, AK-2, AK-3.
Keywords:Blades of gas turbine engines, cobalt aluminate, surface modification, suspension, ceramic molds.

Popov A. Laempe experience of implementation of technologies “Industry 4.0” in the global foundry industry
The article provides a description of modern information and computer technologies used in foundry production and in particular for core-making. The various capabilities of the Industry 4.0 tools for solving the problems of collecting and processing data, monitoring the condition of equipment and complex automation of core-making process are described.
Keywords:Modernization of production, core-making equipment, automation of processes, computer technologies, prototyping of cores

Lazarenkov A.M., Sadokha M.A. Study of vibration safety of labor in the foundry
The results of studies of the impact of vibration on workers in the foundry industry are presented. The main sources of vibration are shown. The assessment of vibration safety of various professions of the foundry shop was carried out. Recommendations are given for assessing and accounting for vibration in the design of new and reconstruction of existing foundries.
Key words:Foundry, working conditions, labor safety, foundry shop, vibration, vibration sickness.
