There have been conducted investigations aimed at the optimization of chemical composition, working-out of heat treatment parameters to reduce stresses and ensure precipitation hardening in massive castings with a working layer of high-chromium iron. Such irons are intended for making the working layer of two-layer rolls. Structure formation regularities have been revealed, heat treatment conditions have been proposed.

Adaptive synchronizing closed-open control of such type of objects is proposed. Such control realizes new possibilities and combines various principles of control of individual subprocesses after the decomposition of the general technology.

The authors propose a variant of the method for building educational computer software - training task generators based on expert systems. These are simulators for recognition tasks or training systems. Expert systems can be used both in production process and for training.
