Selected two compositions of cast iron for wear-resistant bimetallic tires with a low level of residual stresses, with the required physical, mechanical and casting properties. An economical and reliable technology for the industrial production of high-quality conical bimetallic tires of various sizes and weights has been developed.

The article discusses the effect of boron content on the value of long-term strength. In this article, we studied the effect of boron on the heat-resistant properties of alloys of the Cr-Ni-LE system. The composition of the interstitial phases was studied by quantitative X-ray microanalysis using an INCA PentaFETx3 electronic energy dispersive spectrometer. The article analyzes that the optimal content of boron in alloys of the system – iron-chromium-nickel-l.e.

The article presents the results of a study of the properties of a cold-hardening sand prepared on the basis of the latest multicomponent environmentally friendly binding system Stavroform MGK. The analysis of environmentally friendly flow-hardening sand binding systems for the manufacture of casting molds and cores is carried out.

Zhirkov E.N., Illarionov I.E., Pestryaev D.A. Improvement of processing characteristics of lignosulfonate and molding mixtures with borate compounds
The results of a study of the influence of lithium, sodium and potassium metaborates on the binding property and strength parameters of lignosulfonate and molding sands are presented. It was shown that the introduction of these metaborates into the composition of lignosulfonates increases their binding properties, improves the properties of molding and core sands. Some new effective binders and cold-hardening mixtures based on lignosulfonates and lithium, sodium, and potassium metaborates were developed.

Berestevich A.I., Izotov V.A., Shatulsky A.A. Improving of technology for casting large-size cooled gas turbine engine blades
The analysis of the existing manufacturing technology of large-size GTU blades made of CHS88U-VI alloy was performed, which allowed us to establish the presence of shrinkage defects. On the basis of mathematical and physical modeling of the process of solidification of the casting, a system of insulation of casting molds with heat-insulating felt is proposed, which made it possible to eliminate the existing defects.

Korbanov V.D. Application of additive technologies in investment casting
The article discusses a method for producing castings using additive technologies. The difference from other methods is that common, cheap and technologically advanced materials such as PLA and ABS plastics are used, which, in turn, leads to cost savings and the availability of additive technologies in foundry.

A method of production of a "transparent" model is considered, including the features of applying a suspension on its surface followed by dusting with refractory material of different size range. The developed method makes it possible to select materials and parameters of the technological process to prevent the formation of defects in the face layer of the mold in the course of investment casting. It can be used to control the quality of the face layer of an investment casting mold.

The use of gasified casting technology with the use of a number of original technical solutions and the use of equipment of domestic production allowed us to create a number of efficient modern production facilities with high economic indicators. The data on the detoxication of evolved gases in the absorption-biochemical purification unit are presented.

The process of fusion of the roll working layer made of semi-HSS steel with a iron incite part was studied using the PolygonSoft casting process computer simulation system The thermal conditions for the formation of the roll working layer made of semi-HSS steel were obtained at the first stage of the modeling process. They were taken as a basis for the second stage of modeling - welding of the working layer shroud and the roll core. The change in the temperature of the working layer during the transportation of the mold with the filled working layer from the centrifugal machine to the caisson, as well as during the assembly of the casting mold were determined. These data made it possible to predict the initial thermal conditions in the course of pouring the iron core, as well as the distribution of thermal fields in the working layer, incite core part and welding zone.

Gruzman V.M. Synthesis technology of manufacturing mathematical model
The technological process worked out before being transferred to series production in a specific situation is inevitably exposed to disturbing influences. Elements of the synthesis technology of a mathematical model are proposed for the control. The input variables of the model are disturbing factors of a very different nature. An example of building such a training model is given.
