The structural features of the graphite inclusions in SCh10 and SCh15 gray irons are considered depending on the degree of their eutecticity. It was stated that the primary graphite in hypereutectic gray iron can float up in the form of spill. The difference in the structural features of graphite inclusions in the hypereutectic and eutectic gray irons is shown. The difficulties of achieving a favorable morphology of the graphite phase in the high-carbon hypereutectic gray iron are described.
Keywords:High-carbon hypereutectic gray iron, inoculation, primary graphite, stability of properties, structure.

The paper presents an analysis of the existing problems of structure refinement and increasing the plasticity of hypereutectic silumins with a high silicon content. The results of research on the hereditary influence of the structure of charge metals and physical effects on their properties are presented. The possibility of obtaining deformed products (sheet, foil) up to 0.2 mm thick from
Keywords:Charge metals, structural inheritance, modification, physical effects, primary silicon crystals, properties of cast silumins, deformability, rolled products.

The possibility of a comprehensive solution to the problem of weakening of foundry molds and cores based on liquid glass binder. The proposed idea for its solution and experimentally proved the possibility of its implementation, through the use of integrated ezuprechnaya modifiers. Their effectiveness is due to a combination of components providing softening liquid glass mixture as intervals of low (200…300?C) and high temperatures (700…800?C). Conducted industrial testing of the obtained results, the results made of quality casting.

Osipenko I.А., А.Z .Issagulov, S.I. Repyuh, V.Yu. Kulikov, Sv.S. Kvon, Chsherbakova Y.P. Cold-hardening mixture for molds and cores
The composition of a cold-hardening mixture intended for production of casting molds and cores was investigated. A highly dispersed material based on silicon dioxide, in particular, dust formed at gas cleaning of ferrosilicon production was proposed as a new component of the cold-hardening mixture. The high specific surface area of the dust contributes to the interaction with ortho-phosphoric acid and to the evolution of the curing process, which provides the necessary strength of the casting mold. The following properties of the cold-hardening mixture were determined: compressive strength, durability, gas permeability and friability. The optimal content of the dust formed at gas cleaning of ferrosilicon production and the ratio between the above dust and ortho-phosphoric acid in the cold-hardening mixture was determined.
Keywords:Cold-hardening mixture, composition, properties, application, dust formed at gas cleaning.
