Doroshenko V.S. Possibilities of casting nodular graphite iron by gasifiable pattern casting process with isothermal hardening of castings
A short review of ausferritic iron production processes is given. A method of making castings from ausferritic nodular graphite iron from cast state with an integrated heat treatment is proposed. The method is recommended for foundries using gasifiable pattern casting process.

Vasenin V.I., Sharov K.V. Investigation into the stape gate without the inverted sprue in gasnonpermeable and gaspermeable forms
Theoretically and experimentally determinated in gasnonpermeable form size vacuum in stream liquid in sprue and uncovered increase (in 2 one) the consumption of liquid in system «pouring basin-nozzle-sprue feeders» on comparison with system «pouring basinnozzle». In gaspermeable form time of filling defines the consumption of liquid in system «pouring basin-nozzle» and no depends on diameter sprue, diameter of feeders, their quantity, interval them by height form.

Ovcharenko P.G., Chekmyshev K.E., Tarasov V.V., Trifonov I.S. The formation of alloying surface layer on the castings from iron-carbon alloys and validation of their wear resistance
The way of castings obtaining from iron-carbon alloys by the method of casting on consumable pattern with formation alloying layers on castings surface is considered in paper. The formation of alloying layers occurs when elements interaction of alloying compositions on the mechanism of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis. Synthesis in the alloying compositions is initiated by the thermal energy of poured melt. The result of the synthesis is a creation of the infusible inorganic compounds – borides, carbides, carbonitrides in castings surface layer. The influence of alloying compositions makeup on the structure and makeup of alloying layer is shown. The relative wear resistance in dry abrasive wear is presented.

Verevkin A.G. Start of the Nobake molding line FAT at the TEMZ plant in Tomsk
The primary subject of article is start-up of the new Nobake molding line for production of perspective domestic substitutes – cast shutoff valves for the Power of Siberia pipeline. The article also describes various equipment for Nobake and the latest experience of FAT projects realized in Russia.

Gruzman V.M. Organization of rejects prevention in serial production
In serial casting production, the main line of preventing rejects “flashes” is the monitoring of unavoidable fluctuations of the optimal values of the technological indices. A reliable condition of being successful seems to be the combination of economic and computer means in realizing such monitoring. An example of economic correction of the production process for involving the workers in the monitoring is given. Computer means that are acceptable in view of the specifics of the casting production are indicated.

Livshits V.B., Sokolova M.L., Bezpalko V.I. Making jewelry items by pressing at crystallization
Discussed are the technological possibilities of making jewelry items with relief surface by casting with crystallization under pressure. Set forth is the technology of making settings and complete jewelry items in serial production, including making a pattern by the method of taking a rough mold with subsequent pressing at crystallization of Бр010Ф1 bronze castings.
