Boldyrev D.A., Davydov S.V. Graphitized irons with unregulated shapes of graphite inclusions
Effect of graphite shape evolution from flaked to spheroidal on the properties of structural irons is analyzed and substantiated, their peculiarities are discussed, the prospects of their industrial application are evaluated. The expediency of their rational use for the production of castings from unregulated graphitized irons with an intermediate, transitional morphology of graphite inclusions instead of high grades of gray (SCh30, SCh35) and malleable irons.
Key words:Structural irons, graphite, microstructure, mechanical properties.

Gushchin N.S., Kulikov V.N., Nuraliyev F.A., Takhirov A.T. Wear-resistant chromium-alloyed irons with special properties
Discussed are the competitive import-replacing domestic technologies for the production of grinding parts, they are evaluated in comparison with foreign counterparts. It is pointed out that the use of continuous-cast linings from cast iron or steel will allow to lower their production cost by 20%, increase productivity in foundries at repairing mills 5-8fold, improve product quality. There is proposed low-alloy nodular iron whose application allows to drastically reduce the negative effect of abrasive impurities in lubricants, and thereby improve the precision of heavy metal-cutting machine-tools and increase the service life of coal-grinding drum-type ball mills.
Key words:Wear resistance, mill, production costs, service life, lining, heat treatment, alloying.

Ten E.B., Bazlova T.A., Achildiev O.H. Preparing of defects on the steel castings and quality of its welding
It is fulfilled a comparative analysis of the defects welding up defects on steel 20GL castings after its preparing by different methods: the mechanical cutting, the air-arc shaving, preparing of defect places by air-arc shaving combined with mechanical trimming. Mechanical cutting as universal, but time-consuming and unproductive way should be used primarily for cutting defects in hard to reach places. If you need to weld defect from decorative reasons, it is advisable to limit the cutting by air-arc shaving. In all other cases, the air-arc gouging at cutting defects must be supplemented by mechanical trimming.
Key words:Steel casting, preparing of defect place, air-arc shaving, mechanical cutting out and trimming, arc welding, welding up quality.

Finkelshtein A.B., Novozhilov N.Y., Khusnullin D.V., Shefer A.A. Investigation into core sand bonded with Cordis-Anorgit composition
There have been developed core sand compositions based on modified Cordis water glass and inorganic Anorgit additive using sands from some of the domestic deposits. It is shown that when using sand from Tashla sand quarry the consumption of Cordis binder is 2 times lower than when using sand from Basyanovsky sand quarry. The evaluation of shakeout capability and loss on ignition value of the obtained core sand produced results showing the expediency of using the investigated binder composition in the large-scale production as an alternative to synthetic resins.
Key words:Modified water glass, Cordis-Anorgit binder composition, tensile strength, sloughability, shakeout capability, mass loss on ignition.

Doroshenko V.S. About printing stratified sand mold with differentiated strength
Molding method is based on a combination of the two-phase dispersed systems into a single three-phase in the process of preparing and filling cold-molding mix in a snap. The aim is to reduce the economic costs in molding operations of mixing. Reducing the rate of the binder and the possibility of introducing a differential thickness of the sand mold, reduced drying forms, extension of the molding ice on single patterns are the benefits of the method. The prospects of automation processes described in the field of physical chemistry molding using 3D-technology.
Key words:Sand molding, molding process, the preparation of the mixture, disperse systems, 3D-technology, the ice pattern, cold-molding mix.

Leushina L.I., Leushin I.O., Geyko I.V. Possible risks of practical realization of shell mold low-temperature firing technique
Carried out is the analysis of possible risks of shell mold low-temperature firing technique in the conditions of existing facilities and identified are the practical ways for their minimization.
Key words:Investment casting, shell mold low-temperature firing, realization risks.

Korotchenko A.Y., Smykov A.F. Designing the casting production process on the basis of the method of unity of rheological models
The article presents a critical analysis of the currently used methods of mold production from clay-bonded sands and casting solidification. Proposed are new methods of sand compaction and shrinkage defect elimination, which are defined by the rules applicable to simple systems with internal control. A changeover from complex systems with external control to simple systems with internal control allows to reduce labor input and shorten the time of developing mold production and casting solidification stages.
Key words:Production process, compaction, sand, casting, solidification, quality, methods, shrinkage, filtration, porosity.

Voronin Y.F., Lobacheva O.V. The automated systems for decrease in marriage of molding tooling reworking
Use of various automated systems on providing factory founders with the information receptions and modeling of technological parameters necessary for improvement of quality of castings is considered. The Atlas of Foundry Defects system provides the user with theoretical information for understanding of process of production of high-quality molding. The expert system presents defect in the present description the oxidized gas sinks «Bubbles subcrustal». Modeling process is considered by technological parameters of conditions of formation of high-quality castings.
Key words:The automated system, kinds of defects of castings, theoretical information, difference, the analysis, emergence of possible defects, modeling, technological processes, elimination of defects.
