Takhirov A.A., Gushchin N.S., Nuraliyev F.A. Production of Grinding Elements of Asphalt Preparation Equipment
New compositions of wear-resistant nodulariron (NI) with lower hardness have been developed. It has been found that with the increase of austenite amount in the metal base (MB) of chromium-nickeliron (CNI) its hardness and, accordingly, abrasion resistance decreases. Effect of various abrasive materials on the change in its MB hardness has been studied. Based on the experiment results, new compositions of nodular chromium-nickel iron for the production of wear parts are recommended. There have been carried out industrial tests of an experimental lot of those parts, which show good results. Key words: wear-resistant chromium-nickel iron with and without nodular graphite, physicomechanical and service (abrasion) properties, laboratory unit, abrasive materials (SiO2 and SiC).

Polyakov S., Korovin V.M., Korotchenko A.Y., Bast Y. New Criterion of Microporosity Formation in Castings
There has been proposed a new nondimensional criterion of microporosity formation that takes into account a number of substantial technological factors including, among others, atmospheric and metallostatic pressure, gas saturation of alloy. The criterion contains only measurable or controllable parameters, and does not require any additional experimental information. A special feature of the criterion is the absence of the radius of the micropore's critical nucleus, instead of which its evaluation by the distance between the secondary skeleton axes is used. The criterion is recommended for more accurate prediction of microporosity formation in casting solidification simulation systems. Key words: nondimensional criterion of microporosity, porosity evaluation, porosity prediction, Darcy law, two-phase zone, melt filtration, Niyam criterion.

Belikov O.A. Structural Analysis of Pattern Tooling Movement in Automatic Single-Station Molding Units
Discussed are the structural features of automatic single-station molding units (ASSMU) realizing automatic changing of pattern plates (PP) for upper and lower half-molds on the molding table and replacement of those pattern sets (PS) when changing over to the production of a new lot of castings. Positive and negative sides of structural variants of such replacement are pointed out. It is shown how much the level of mold loss per year lowers at automatic PS replacement, and what advantages are provided by the circulation of two and three PS in an ASSMU. Key words: automatic single-station molding unit, automatic replacement of pattern sets.

Panteleeva A.V., Kovalevich E.V. Computer Modeling of the Stress State of Molds for High-Alloy Steel Ingots
Computer modeling of the stress state of the mold to determine the value of residual stress, which remains in the casting after it was made and to identify possible areas of cracking. This knowledge will take timely technological measures to reduce or remove these stresses. Key words: molds, deformation, cracks, computer modeling.

Kats А.М., Kurakov U.G., Dmitriev U.К. Outline of a Promising Computer-Aided Foundry Management System
Analyzed the status and trends of modern production management systems, hierarchy levels and key modules of control systems, built on information technology. The perspective and outline the contours of the automated control system Fancy-foundry based on information technology, a feature of which is the choice of the criterion management competitiveness castings. Construction of the scheme of decentralized management of a complex object which is Fancy-foundry, made in view of the functional relationships between the various modules. Key words:The automated control system, information technology, style, foundry, product competitiveness.

Georgiyevsky M.G., Batyshev K.A. Gear Pumps of the New Type and Casting with Crystallization under Pressure
The article is dedicated to the production of gear pumps of the new generation that can be used in oil production and other branches of machine-building industry. High performance is achieved by using of parts made by casting with crystallization under pressure. Key words: gear pumps, piston pumps, centrifugal pumps; aluminum alloys, casting with crystallization under pressure.

Ivanko Y.K. About the "Rain" of Crystals in Liquid Metal in the Conditions of Centrifugal Casting
The paper materials are the first attempt to understand the peculiarities of the "rain" of crystals in centrifugal casting thick-walled pipe billets, to give their mathematical description, and evaluate their influence on the formation of the structure of центробежнолитого metal. Key words: centrifugal casting, molten metal, the centrifugal forces, the crystals.
