Bublikov V.B., Yasinskyi A.A., Berchuk D.N., Zelenyi B.G. Structure and Properties Formation in Ductile Cast Iron Castings at Ladle and In-Mould Methods of Modifying
Experimental data about features of structure and properties formation of ductile cast iron castings at ladle and in-mould methods of modifying are obtained. Conditions of rational application of in-mould modifying in ductile cast iron technologies are defined. Keywords: ductile cast iron, modifying, silicon, casting thickness, structure, mechanical properties.

Doroshenko V.S. The three-dimensional molding of bulk materials
3D-technology deformation sand harvesting is based on four known processes in technology sand molding: deformation by compression, vacuum hardening, forced filtration and chemical hardening sand mixtures and supplements computer monitoring and control process. Keywords: molding, bulk materials, deformation, vacuum, V-process, filtration molding.

Vasenin V.I., Bogomiagkov A.V., Sharov K.V. Investigation into an ringshaped gating system
A laboratory ringshaped gating system is described. Results of theoretical and experimental determination of flow speed and liquid flow rates depending on the number of working feaders at the same time are given. A good agreement between the calculated and experimental data has been obtained. Keywords: gating system, sprue, collector, feeder, resistance coefficient, flow speed, liquid flow rate.

Mukhomorov I.A. Sand Holes in Castings. Causes of Formation and Methods of Prevention
Causes of sand hole formation are listed more completely. Their analysis is given, and recommendations on their prevention are offered. Key words: sand hole, crush, tear, erosion scab, poor blow-off, gating-and-feeding system, molding sand.

Voevodina M.A., Krushenko G.G. The possibility of using ash and slag waste in molding sand
It is established that the use of bentonite as a part of moulding sand composition leads to defect "scabs" in the cast-iron castings. Unlike it using the ash and slag waste of thermal power plants in moulding sand composition prevents the appearance of this defect. Key words: molding sand, bentonite, ash and slag waste.

Belobrov Y.A., Karpenkova O.L., Belobrov L.Y. Quick-Drying Burn-on Preventing Washes for Washing Green Sand Molds
Advantages and disadvantages of casting production in green sand molds are set forth. The most important requirements to molding sand in terms of strength, moisture content, gas permeability are determined. Technology of preparing molds for washing and washing itself is set forth. Varieties of quick-drying washes for washing green sand molds are determined. Key words: green sand mold, quick-drying burn-on preventing washes, requirements to green sand for green sand molds, extrusion starch reagent, technology of preparing molds for washing, washing of green sand molds.

Sotsenko О., Belich А., Ivanova L., Kalashnikova A. Development of Technological Process of Foundry Casting «Body of Pump» from High Level Chroming Cast Iron
Performed process design molding parts body pump of wear resistant high chrome cast iron ИЧХ28Н2 using computer software engineering analysis SolidWorks and LVMFlow. Keywords: high level chroming cast iron, modeling, shrinkage, thermal knot, foundry.

Isagulov A.Z., Kulikov V.Y., Tverdokhlebov N.I. , Shcherbakova Y.P., Isagulova D.A.Pattern Making in Expanded Pattern Casting
The article discusses the technology of making patterns by expanded pattern casting. The pattern making process comprises the following operations: preparation of polystyrene foam granules, preparation of a mold, filling the mold with polystyrene foam granules, mold heat treatment, pattern cooling after its drying, and pattern quality control. This method became the main one in the production of spherical risers for feeding steel and nodular iron castings. Key words: casting, expanded patterns, cast part, technology, process.
