Masalov A.K. Modern Foundry Equipment by "Siblitmash" Plant
Development and re-equipment of machine building industry in Russia is restrained by the low technical level of domestic manufacturing facilities, as well as their inability to consistently manufacture modern thin-walled castings of high complexity and precision on the outdated manufacturing equipment. OAO "Siblitmash" manufactures foundry equipment that is up to the world standards.

Panov A.G., Panfilov E.V., Gurtovoj D.A. Control of the arc melting cast iron melt quality during the production of the responsible castings for trucks
The article presents the results of the refining-modifying Ba-Ca-Sr- carbonates treatment tests of the molten cast iron for responsible castings of "KAMAZ-Metallurgy". As a result of the developed technology with the application of material "БСК -2-УС", the flow-ability of the cast iron melts increases, micro and macro structure homogeneity of matrix and graphite of castings increases and castings cost decreases.

Komarov O.S., Urbanovich N.I., Volosatikov V.I., Komarova T.D. Superdispersed Inclusions in Inoculant Compositions for Gray Cast Iron
It is shown that introduction carbon into modifier composition and increase of its dispersion degree due to spatter on high-melting particles or due to mechanical alloying increases modifier efficiency for grey cast iron.

Mukhina I.Y. Structure and Properties of New Cast Magnesium Alloys
Cast Mg alloys, as one of the lightest structural materials, are currently widely used in European countries, China, Canada, Israel, which is due to special alloy properties, including low density and possibility of decreasing the mass of aerospace industry products. VIAM specialists have developed structural, cast high-strength, heat- and corrosion-resistant Mg alloys. New developments are aimed at research and creation of modern Mg alloys containing Zr, and alloyed with rare-earth metals and other microadditions.

Nikulin L.W. Residual stress and deformations in easi alloys castings and condition diagram
The results of an investigation of dependence of residual stress and deformation from alloy structure, the cooling rate and pressure at crystallization are presented in the article. It is shown that qualitative character of dependences is formed at cooling of alloys within an effective interval of crystallization. The quantity indicators increase in the course of cooling from Solid-line to knockout temperature.

We showed the possibility of electro technical products for rolled wire of low-alloyed aluminum alloys, as well as a method for the combined casting rolling and extrusion and subsequent heterogeneity for its manufacture.

Bazhenov V.Y., Koltygin A.V. Optimization of AK5M Alloy Composition Using ProCast Software
It is established that cast quality in many cases depends on synchronization of those or other events in a casting mold. The phase portrait of dynamic system cast - a casting mold is constructed and the problem of synchronization of compound events in the course of cooling of such system after priming is considered. The purpose of system control is formulated: synchronization or desynchronization events in it. Possibility of real casting control quality by influence on synchronization processes in system steel casting - a sand-pitch casting mold is shown.

Lysenko T.V., Stanovsky A.L., Zheldubovsky D.A., Bibik T.V. Synchronization of Composite Events in Foundry Mold
Possibility of optimization of structure of an alloy by means of program ProCast on an example of alloy АК5М is considered. For various variants of structure of alloy АК5М within GOST 1583-93 the estimation of fluidity by modeling of processes of filling and hardening in program ProCast is made. The results obtained suggest that for achievement of the maximum the fluidity of the alloy AK5M, it must be alloying by silicon on the upper limit, and copper and magnesium on the lower limit.
